La selección de juegos en Sun Poker es un perfecto ejemplo de esto. Aunque le falta mucha de la imaginación y las variantes de otros sitios, sigue habiendo bastantes opciones para el jugador de poker estándar. Hay varias alternativas en mesas de dinero incluyendo limit, pot limit y no limit hold’em, 7-card stud, y Omaha, así como bastante acción en torneos sit-and-go de una mesa y gran variedad de satélites. Un aspecto único de sus juegos es que están disponibles en varias monedas, incluyendo Dólares estadounidenses, Libras esterlinas y Euros. La calidad del jugador en Sun Poker es algo diversa, al atraer un buen número de jugadores con un estándar alto de alrededor del mundo, pero también muchos jugadores débiles. Esto, en un sentido, es un punto fuerte, al tener un rango representativo de oponentes para jugar y poder con esto practicar los cambio de juego necesarios para que todo buen jugador esté en forma, particularmente para aquellos que jueguen en torneos en vivo donde este rango de jugadores sin duda se encotrará. Dada la disponibilidad de juegos en diferentes monedas, está la posibilidad única de competir contra una variedad de jugadores internacionales, particularmente europeos. Mucha gente encontrará esto como un agradable extra, especialmente los mas parlanchines de entre nosotros, aunque no afecta generalmente al estándar de jugadores. La diversidad en la calidad de los jugadores de Sun te mantendrá a ti y a tus fondos fuera de balance, pero al menos pronto podrás maldecir tu suerte en varios idiomas diferentes.

El software es otro ejemplo de un área que, a pesar de estar lejos de lo mas alto de la industria, sigue siendo de un estándar lo suficientemente alto como para no causar problemas serios a ningún usuario. El proceso de descarga es algo mas lento que la mayoría de los otros sitios aunque no lo suficiente como para generar muchas quejas, mientras que la rapidez alrededor del sitio en sí es igualmente suficiente. Es simplemente la falta de extras e imaginación lo que mantiene al sitio algo detrás, al no proveer nada fuera de lo estándar de la industria, excepto quizá su decente visor de historial de manos. Al decir esto, cabe señalar que la falta de algo excepcional no quiere decir que Sun Poker no sea una sala adecuada para jugar. La ayuda en línea, información de los torneos y jugadores, así como las opciones y seguridad del cajero son estándares en la industria y por lo tanto tan buenos como es necesario. El juego en sí es similar, con torneos bien organizados, un modo de juego suave, eficiente y sin fallas. También está el bono añadido/irritación masiva de un comentador automatizado que dirá cosas tan útiles como “dealing flop” o “your turn!”. Para aquellos que no deseen tirar su computadora por la ventana mas cercana, se recomienda el botón de silencio.

Los gráficos en Sun Poker son de un estándar similar a las demás cosas aquí, esto es, suficientemente decentes pero no espectaculares. El tema general de poker en un escenario tropical es colorido y agradable a la vista, aunque se sienta mas como el interior de una agencia de viajes en vez de una palapa en una playa del Caribe. La interfaz principal es usable y simple, aunque algunos de los colores, en particular el amarillo brillante que se usa, tienden a blanquear todo un poco y pueden ser un problema en monitores antiguos. Los gráficos dentro del juego buscan también la apariencia tropical, al tener por ejemplo mesas y sillas de bambú. Este es también un esfuerzo a medias de crear dicha atmósfera y, mientras puede que sea realista, es también algo soso. Esperamos ansiosos las meseras virtuales en bikinis. De nuevo, esto no sugiere que sea menos jugable que el sitio promedio, pues la acción y detalles del juego como fichas y cartas son muy claros. Hay también un buen rango de opciones en las mesas, permitiendo a los jugadores cambiar el color de las cartas, reorganizar los botones de acción y manipular las opciones del chat.

Sun Poker es, en general, una sala relativamente rentable. Esto es grandemente debido a sus muy buenos bonos mas que al tener oponentes débiles y grandiosas opciones de juego. 100% hasta $50 en el primer depósito es muy bueno para cualquiera que de todos modos depositaría $50 inicialmente, pero es el bono de $40 extra por 250 manos raked lo que es especialmente impresionante. Estos bonos harán a Sun rentable para la mayoría de los jugadores, sin tomar en cuenta la calidad de los oponentes. El juego promedio puede ser un lugar engañoso para intentar aumentar fondos al haber una peligrosa mezcla de jugadores buenos y malos. Por ejemplo, es algo fácil el entrar en el hábito de usar la posición y fichas para presionar a los jugadores más débiles, para después caer sin darse cuenta en una trampa puesta por uno de los buenos jugadores. Habiendo dicho esto, cualquier mesa de poker en el mundo real contendrá esta mezcla de tiburones y peces, así que es mejor saber nadar con ambos.

Too few players, only a handful at limit holdem tables - and the points accumulate quite slow. Savvy points came within 24 hrs after completing the site.

This is another Cryptologic Network poker site. You will earn 850 SavvyPoints after getting 750 Sun "My Poker" Points. You will also earn $150 from their deposit bonus at the same time you complete the SavvyPoints bonus. On top of everything you will get an invite to a $10,000 new players freeroll, so all in all this is a good promotion. Player traffic at this site could be better, especially in the fixed-limit games, it can be bit quiet there at times.

This is the toughest PokerSavvy promotion at the Cryptologic Network. It took me 6,000 hands at $50 max buy-in no-limit games to clear. But, the reward is juicy: $150 deposit bonus and 850 SavvyPoints. I lost about half of this bonus at the tables since I ran pretty bad, but that's poker. There are always bonuses to compensate for the bad beats!

Sun Poker is definitely one of the hardest places to get SavvyPoints from, at least of the ones I've played. I was really frustrated at times because the points were coming so slowly (playing mostly $50 max buy-in shorthanded.) Nevertheless, I held my head up high and was determined to finish and get the 750 points. If you start at Sun Poker, be sure to do so at the start of the month, as the sign-up bonus expires at the end of each month. I didn't realize this and had only a weeks time to clear 1,000 points, which was impossible for me. A few words about the competition... Look for the loose tables and you'll end up earning a lot of cash during your stay here. I got my SavvyPoints in under 36 hours from completion. Thanks!

The Sun Poker bonus was a relatively easy job, even though I play in micro stakes (mainly no-limit Hold'em with a $25 max buy-in.) The offer is generous, in addition to the SavvyPoints bonus a decent sign-up bonus is offered. Playing a few hours per day, it took me about a week to clear the bonus. The only problem was the low amount of player traffic on the network, but by also playing some Omaha I could find just enough tables to fill my screen.

The Sun Poker promo takes some time to complete. It took me about 20 hours of playing four $150 or $100 max buy-in no-limit Hold'em tables. The software at Sun Poker is just average, without an option to change table size. Customer support is helpful and flexible, but a little bit slow.

It takes a long time to clear this bonus playing $50 max buy-in no-limit Hold'em, and even at $100 max buy-in. Their huge tables are not resizable.

Like all Cryptologic Network poker rooms, it is difficult to find full ring games. However, the 6-handed low stakes tables are pretty soft, depending on the time and day of the week. The required 750 MyPokerPoints take a while to earn at $25 or $50 max buy-in no-limit, but playing the lowest limits will make you good money all by itself. Cashing out is fast and reliable. The software worked well for me but some people complained about server crashes.



           

Not the Best Site

I enjoyed the fast play and that was about it. The play was varied but the biggest letdown is that there are never very many players on the site at the same time. This cancels most of the tourneys. Also tried to email support about a possible collusion while playing and they never ever replied to me so that turned my goal into getting the reward and then quickly cashing out.

Sun Poker has a great variety of players.
Even though the graphics are not the best, I have seen they are smooth and fun to look at.

I myself play no-limit $.15/.25-$.25/.50 and at those tables there are plenty of fish.

I can recommend this poker site to anyone , any day, anywhere. One of the best sites there are.

I didn't like that poker room because it's slow and i like things that go fast.
The cashout is not made for Europeans so u have to pay to change dollars to euro, and it's not that easy to get the required points (though if you play limit hl you can do it with a bit of patience)
graphics look oldish but are playable

I love the Crypto sites and have added Sun to my stable of regular sites. I found the bonus very easy to clear (I play 1/2 and 2/4 Limit) and the competition to be VERY soft if you're patient and take time to get to know your table.

They also have a monthly $40 bonus for 250 MPPs, with no redeposit needed, so I'm keeping it in my list of sites I regularly play.



           

Not the Best, but Decent

I had a little difficulty clearing the requirements for this poker room. What I mean by that is that I probably lost about 15-20 dollars attaining the required points for SavvyPoints. I really seemed to get a lot of bad beats on this site. I am quite sure that my experiences can be explained by bad luck and Sun Poker is a decent poker room. I still came out ahead by playing the site and donaˆ™t regret it one bit.

Well Sun Poker has nice bonuses that were easy to clear with lots of players. I would have given 5 stars but gave only 3 because for some reason people from my country (Finland) can't receive the first deposit bonus on Sun Poker. And that sucks!

Basic cryptologic network place. Good mtt games and small (0,5-1) NL ring games. It is easy to find a table and there are always at least couple of tables open. Sometimes very tight and you need to really know how to play against each player. I think there were a lot of weak-tight players. Bonus is worse, because I didn`t get it because of my home country... :/ Poker manager only can offer it after playing 30 days there.
