We have detected that you are based in the United States. Unfortunately, due to the vague and uncertain legal and regulatory environment in the United States, PokerSavvy does not allow United States residents to sign up for SavvyPoints or rakeback offers at real money poker rooms. We regret that we need to do this and hope that the US government will soon clarify the law and create a framework that allows US-based poker players to play the game they love safely and openly. We encourage you to contact your Congressperson to express your view that poker is not, and should not, be illegal and we encourage you to support candidates at all levels that share that view.

In the meantime, we welcome you to check out PokerSavvy Plus, our poker training product that is fully accessible to United States residents. Thanks for your understanding.

Summary (Rated 8 out of 10)

As you can tell by the name, EuroPoker is a poker room aimed at European players. There are always a lot of players online during European prime time hours and their software is supported in German, Spanish, Polish and Russian in addition to English. EuroPoker has also received a lot of praise for their no-download poker client, though you can download the software as well, and both versions offer great playability with visually appealing graphics and games that run smoothly.

Game Selection (Rated 8 out of 10)

You can play Texas Hold'Em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud, Five Card Stud and Chinese Poker at EuroPoker. Table stakes for limit games range from $0.15/$0.30 up to $500/$1000, with pot-limit and no-limit games starting as low as $0.5/$0.10. Tournaments at EuroPoker are very tempting, especially for new players. There are tournaments around the clock with low buy-ins and big guaranteed prize pools. Every Thursday you can enter the $5,000 Thursday Freeroll tournament completely free of charge! Additionally you can find a lot of guaranteed tournaments, such as the European Daily ($50,000 GTD), the Euro Grand Prix (every Saturday, $60,000 GTD) and the Champion Chip (every Sunday, $250,000 GTD). On top of those don't forget that you can qualify for as little as $2 to the Aussie Millions 2010 at EuroPoker! Players who enjoy Sit'N'Go Tournaments will find the usual assortment of games with one exception: The Coinflip Sit'N'Go. It is a one-hand Sit 'N' Go where all players are all in at the first hand. Players flip over their cards and see who wins the tournament – winner takes all. In the case of two winners having the same hand, a new hand will be played to determine first prize.

Quality of Players (Rated 7 out of 10)

EuroPoker is mostly filled with poker players of average skill. The games have a tendency to be fairly loose, which is common for most online poker rooms. Good players should do well playing at EuroPoker, but should always be prepared to play in a wild game with several loose players, some of the lower stakes games have up to an average of 75% of players seeing the flop! If you’re playing at EuroPoker for the tournaments, go for anything below a $50 buy-in if you want to be sure you're mostly facing off against soft players.

Software (Rated 9 out of 10)

The EuroPoker software is very simple and straightforward. They offer both a downloadable Windows client and a no-download Java client that works on both Mac and Linux with supported web browsers. Players will find that navigating the lobby to find a game is quick and easy. As for functionality, this is one area where EuroPoker shines as you can toggle many options on and off to your liking. Additionally, there are some handy built-in tools to help you improve your poker game. When you play, your game statistics are tracked for later viewing when you're away from the tables, while the notes system allows you to keep track of how your opponents play with color tags and player comments.

Graphics (Rated 7 out of 10)

The in-game poker table graphics at EuroPoker are great! The images are sharp and the avatars look good, but more importantly, the gameplay is smooth and it’s easy to measure out your bets. Euro Poker offers a mini-table option that allows you to tile multiple tables on one screen, which is a handy feature for those that like to play at more than one table at a time. These tables are big enough that you can tell what’s going on, but small enough that you can tile several of them across a small screen.

Profitability (Rated 7 out of 10)

EuroPoker will give you a generous 100% bonus up to $1200 on your first deposit. You can the deposit bonus by collecting Player Points, which you earn whenever you sit down and play in a real money game. On top of your deposit bonus, these collectible points can be converted into exclusive prizes and entries into private freerolls. One interesting note about EuroPoker's bonuses is that they don't offer a VIP loyalty program. While some players might miss having a rewards program that gives the high rollers a little something extra, the thing to remember is that it means that everyone at EuroPoker is treated like a VIP!
