Pre-flop all-ins made on 8-3 unsuited are as common as everybody at the table calling the all-in bet. By contrast, the money tables are competitive, though the occasional fish does swim into the aquarium. At the higher stakes tables, expect much stiffer competition as there are many skilled players across the Prima Poker Network.

Because a player from any room in the network has, through his homeroom’s software, access to tables at all the other sites in the network, there is a constant offering of tables of every description. One of the good features of this software is that it allows you to search for a table with very specific criteria. With a single table alias you can access all of Prima’s poker rooms.

PokerTime’s graphics are unspectacular but readable, the site easy to navigate and the click options generally easy to use. There are occasional small problems; sometimes, there is a delay of a few seconds between your clicking a bet choice and the bet being placed. Also on occasion, when you win a hand and are given the option to muck or show, the option shows for a fraction of a second, not enough time for you to indicate your choice, and your hand gets mucked automatically. PokerTime lags far behind rooms like Full Tilt Poker and PokerRoom in terms of visual quality but you’ll find PokerTime to be a usable and easily navigable environment.

In theory, a good player could parlay this sign-up freebie into a seat at the World Series of Poker. (In theory). There are conditions placed on what you must do to request withdrawals from money won on that free initial deposit, but nothing too daunting. Other bonus programs are neither the best nor the worst offered in the internet poker universe. Couple this nice starter bonus with some fairly juicy low-limit tables and PokerTime can be a nicely profitable option.
