Kirja-arvostelu: Harrington on Hold Em Vol 1

Dan Harrington on vuoden 1995 maailmanmestari. Kirjoissaan hän jakaa tietämystään ja opettaa sinulle suoraviivaisen, mutta siitä huolimatta hyvin menestyksekkään tavan pelata pokeria. Mielestäni tämä kirja kannattaa lukea ensimmäisenä, jos alat pelata no-limit holdemia (olettaen että osaat jo säännöt). Harringtonin kirjat keskittyvät no-limit holdem turnauspelaamiseen, mutta tässä kirjasarjan ensimmäisessä osassa selitetään perusteet, jotka ovat hyödyksi myös käteispeleissä. Tämä kirja ei ole vain yksinkertainen pelin esittely, vaan se opettaa sinut sekä pelaamaan, että AJATTELEMAAN.

Jokaisen kappaleen jälkeen kirjassa on kyselytesti, joka auttaa ymmärtämään juuri luetut asiat. Harrington on Hold'Em Vol.1 on erinomainen kirja. Sen materiaali sopii loistavasti ensimmäiseksi pokerikirjaksi, kun haluat ymmärtää no-limit holdemin teoriaa ja tärkeimpiä käsitteitä. Kaikille, jotka haluavat kehittää pelitaitojaan, on tämä kirja pakkoluettavaa.
