Met 60,000 spelers op elk moment online is Party Poker absoluut de grootste online site die er is, maar is het ook de beste? Het korte antwoord: ja en nee. Als je kijkt naar de keuze uit games, de organisatie en de varieteit van je tegenstanders maken de dit best room en het zal op dit gebied waarschijnlijk blijven domineren, vanwege een paar redenen, maar er zijn toch wat relatieve zwaktes. Door de lichtelijk verouderde looks en wat fouten die in de software zitten zullen sommige spelers liever ergens anders spelen, hoewel de meeste mensen het liefste bij Party blijven ondanks deze foutjes.

Game Selectie (Rated 10 out of 10)
Wanneer je je afvraagt hoe het komt dat Party Poker de grootste speler uit de industrie is, moet je niet verder kijken dan naar de keuze uit games. Bijna elke game is beschikbaar met elke grootte, type en limiet aanwezig. Dit is de grote kracht van PartyPoker en dit is waarom zij voorlopen op andere sites. De cash games die worden aangeboden zijn alle hold’em games, limit en pot limit Omaha, en 7-card stud, met verschillende limieten die beginnen vanaf 10c/25c en gaan tot $100/$200. Het enige wat hier ontbreekt zijn micro-limiet en hoge-limiet games, net zoals Hi/Lo games, maar ze hebben wel beginners tafels voor nieuwe gebruikers en ook interessante jackpot tafels, zoals de ‘bad beats tafels’.
Er zijn ook veel toernooien beschikbaar, met veel soorten verschillende dinge. De single en multi-tafel sit-and-go’s worden ook aangeboden met verschillende soorten inzet, hoewel gezegd mag worden dat er niks onder de $6 zit. Deze kritiek kun je over heen kijken omdat er wel een eindeloze stroom kwalificeer en satteliet toernooien worden aangeboden zoals de zogenaamde ‘steps’ en alles wat je maar kunt bedenken zoals toernooien naar de WSOP. Dit geld ook voor hun dagelijkse geplande toernooien, die erg geschikt zijn voor mensen die graag freerolls spelen omdat ze er hier dagelijks te speln zijn. Er zijn ook veel promotionele, speed en rebuy games beschikbaar.

Kwaliteit van Spelers (Rated 7 out of 10)
Zoals je kunt verwachten met een site die zo’n grote groep spelers aantrekt dat het zelfs het inwonersgetal van sommige kleine landen word overschreden is dat er spelers zijn van alle soort niveaus. Je vind hier de beste en meest ervaren spelers net zoals je hier de zwakste en de meest onervaren spelers kunt vinden. Een manier waarop Party Poker dit in de hand probeerd te houden is door middel hun ‘beginner’ tafels die exclusief beschikbaar zijn voor nieuwe accounts en voor een bepaalde periode. Dit is een goede plek voor beginners om hun eerste stap in online poker te zetten maar nodigt ook goede spelers uit om hun bankroll wat op te bouwen voordat ze de rest van de site gaan aanpakken.
Hoe hoger de limieten, hoe hoger de kwaliteit van de spelers, dat mag duidelijk zijn maar dat gaat niet altijd zoals je verwacht bij andere poker rooms. Door het massieve aantal spelers en door het profiel van Party Poker krijg je allerlei beginners met een bankroll, terwijl de hoge limieten bij een andere site misschien een no-go gebied zijn kan dit gebied op Party soms een van de meest winstgevende gebieden zijn van ze allemaal. Doordat de site zich vooral op hold’em richt zorgt er soms ook voor dat de kwaliteit van de spelers lager ligt omdat de all-round speler misschien liever op een andere site speelt waar ze zich meer op andere games richten.

Software (Rated 8 out of 10)
De software bij Party Poker werkt over het algemeen goed, iets wat je al zou verwachten bij een site van deze grootte, hoewel het niet de beste software is die er bestaat. De download, installatie en setup verlopen goed en bewegen door de site werkt zo snel als nodig. De grote kracht van de software van Party is de excellente service die het zijn gebruikers biedt. De algemene interface geeft de gebruiker veel verschillende opties met hun perfecte support als grootste troef.
In-game play werkt redelijk met een goed overzicht van de acties en je kunt ook goed zien wat voor inzetten er geplaatst worden. De kaarten worden ook snel gedeelt en gefold zonder vervelende pauzes waarbij je moet wachten voordat je er achter komt wie de hand gewonnen heeft. Er missen wat van de pre-select actie knoppen, zoals de auto call optie, wat multi-tablen iets moeilijker maakt. PartyPoker heeft ook wat interessante nieuwigheden in de software zitten zoals het resizen van tafels en optie om de tafels naast elkaar te schikken zodat meerdere tafels tegelijkertijd bekeken kunnen worden, hierdoor word het multi-tablen dan weer veel makkelijker door gemaakt.

Graphics (Rated 7 out of 10)
Het is verassend dat de graphics van Party Poker zo tegenvallen omdat het zo een populaire site is en omdat de site van zo een hoge kwaliteit is. De algemene gebruikers interface is vooral gericht op een goede organisatie van de informatie en is ook nogal praktisch opgebouwd, waardoor het wel goed werkt maar het ziet er ook niet zo heel mooi uit. Kleuren, atmosfeer en een creatief thema zijn opgeofferd in ruil voor goede bruikbaarheid en praktische zaken en dat is op een bepaalde manier wel waard omdat het de meeste simpele en op de beste manier georganiseerde lay-out is. De lobby informatie over toernooien, prijzen en spelers is word ook perfect weergegeven.
Als de lobby en interface graphics je al tegenvallen dan zul je al helemaal schrikken van de tafel graphics die nog saaier zijn. Een klein aantal avatars zijn het hoogtepunt van creativiteit van deze site, hoewel deze niet door de speler zelf geselecteerd kunnen worden en de kwaliteit van de animatie niet heel goed is. De tafel, kaarten en chips graphics zijn zo simpel als het maar zijn kan maar zijn wel erg gebruiksvriendelijk en praktisch.

Ondanks het gebrek aan een fantastische bonus of een speciale lucratieve speel optie, heeft Party Poker een uniek imago en status wat de site tot een zeer winstgevende optie maken. Puur alleen door de grootte en de adverteer-kracht van deze site is dit een plek geworden waar poker spelers gaan kijken voor hun eerste ervaring op een online poker site. Ondanks dat de beginners hier als eerst naar toe komen, is er een gebrek aan micro-limiet tafels waar je deze spelers normaal gezien kunt vinden. Dit heeft als resultaat dat er heel loose en sappig gespeelt word op vooral de no limit hold’em cash tafels .
Er zijn niet veel verschillende jackpot games zoals bij de iPoker rooms Noble Poker en Titan Poker, maar er zijn genoeg opties voor spelers die uit iets kleins veel geld willen maken. Een van deze opties zijn ‘steps’ games waarin je je naar een $50 sit-and-go kunt kwalificeren via een $10 sit-and-go. De meeste winst van Party Poker kun je echter krijgen door het spelen op deze site en door het zwemmen met beginners die zich niet meer kunnen verstoppen.

Party Poker has one of the most clearly arranged lobbies, the tables and gameplay are average.

Players: From very good to absolute fish. If you are an average player you should be able to make some money!
RESULT: One of the best PokerSavvy bonuses with a very good deposit bonus that is very easy to complete!!!

The software on Party Poker is on of my favourite.
Players are not that good so you can earn a little bit of money beside the savvybonus.
That bonus is very easy to clear in there. It just took me 2 hours while playing 4 tables on NL200.

I like PartyPoker. The players are horrible, the software runs great, altho I don't like the avatars sitting on the table. The PartyPoint system, however, is just absolute rubish. You get points for playing 20 raked hands at a table. But when you play for instance 79 raked hands. You don't get the points times 4, but times 3. Since you missed 1 raked hand. I think this is just a very sad tactic to use on your customers! But overall the room is terrific.

Very good and quick bonus. Players in PartyPoker's micro fixed tables are very weak. So bluff.

Party Poker bonus was incredibly easy to complete playing only 1 NL25 table. This was the first Savvybonus I have ever completed. To gain partypoints you have to play tables at least as big as NL25. I liked the software and graphics. Competition was really variable. There were some good players also but most of players at NL25 were relatively fishy. I have nothing to complain about full 5/5 stars from me. Really easy 500 savvypoints here.

I mostly play 5-6 handed NL5-NL25 and Party's short handed tables start from NL25, so I had to play at max level all the time to get this bonus done. NL25 was quite fishy and the raked hands needed were quite easily gathered so I got the bonus done, but i preffer sites that have more low limit short tables.
Client was easy to use, and money transfers from moneybookers and to moneybookers were fast. Quick and easy bonus.

If you spent all your money before you recive your partypoint, just wait some weeks or month and they will give free money up to 30$, so at least I could complete my points. Easy

I really like PP. Very weak players so you can make much profit. The Bonus is easy to clear and no problems occured.
One thing i don´t like at PP is the high fees for withdraw using bank tranfer...

Overall the bonus at Party Poker is very easy to clear. I had it finished in 2 days and it only took about another 2 days to get my savvy points in my account. For the most part the players are pretty loose so you should make a bit of profit at the same time.

Party Poker has simple, easy to use, software. One of the advantages playing on a big site like this is that there's a lot of tables and a lot of weak players! Also, another plus, the PokerSavvy bonus was very easy to clear! Although the deposit bonus was a bit on the small side, it was very easy to release. Enjoy the PokerSavvy Bonus on Party!

I like Party Poker because of their nice, user friendly software. They have a lot of players, you can find active tables during every part of the day. I played $25 max buy-in no-limit games and it was quite easy to clear this bonus at those stakes.

Party Poker was nice experience for me, but I didn't like the skin. I don't know why, but that was it. The skill level of the other players was okay, it's sad that American players are not there anymore. Party Poker is targeted to people who want to play poker for fun. The deposit bonus offered by Party was kind of poor...

Party Poker is part of a huge network. There are players online all the time. There are a lot of fish at the lower stakes. The support staff is very nice, after making a deposit they called me up on the phone and welcomed me to the site. The withdrawal was also great, it took me less then 24 hours to receive my money in my Moneybookers account. Another thing I liked about Party Poker is that they had mini-view tables, so it was easy to play up to twelve tables at the same time.

Party Poker is a well known poker site, but my playing experience wasn't as pleasant as I expected it to be. The software was okay, but not great. The SavvyPoints bonus is very small, but easy to complete. There are many different tables and it's easy to get a game going.

This bonus is my #1 recommendation in almost any article concerning building a BR - and not without reason. Especially with Party's new rake structure, it's easier than ever to meet the required raked hands - totally risk free if you're playing fixed-limit. Their software is okay, a bit plain, but there are many layouts to choose from. Games are good and frequent, just watch out for the short stacks at no-limit tables or the nits in the fixed-limit games. Unfortunately, Party Poker has changed their reload bonus conditions, but the PokerSavvy bonus still is the way to go!

Party Poker has very good software, multi-tabling is no problem. Tight-aggressive is the style employed by most players, but there are enough fish to earn money. The customer support is not good.

After 1.5 year of intensive online playing this was my first time I played at Party Poker. First to say is that I loved the software, it was easy to use, fast and reliable. Customizable table sizes is great feature! I thought the games were pretty tight and aggressive. The 'Players to Flop' percentage was 12%-15% in many full ring games which means you have to adapt your strategy to these games. Also, there are lots of players only buying in with short stacks. Overall I liked Party Poker, especially because of the bonus from PokerSavvy!

This was my easiest bonus ever.
May 24th - In the afternoon I deposited $500 via Moneybookers. I played about 30 minutes ($0.10/0.15 PL/NL x 4 tables) and got almost half of the needed points.
May 25th - When I got home I played another 30 minutes and viola! Done deal! Got my $100 deposit bonus! I withdrew $630 back to my Moneybookers account.
May 26th - In the morning the money was already in my Moneybookers account and I have also earned my SavvyPoints. The whole process took me about two days (One hour of playing), I think this is how it's meant to be! :)

I like the software, especially how you can tile/resize the windows. Took me three or four days to get those 500 raked hands ($0.25/0.50 NL). Deposit $500, and after you meet PokerSavvy's raked hand requirement, you'll also receive Party's $100 first deposit bonus! Highly recommended!

I 4-tabled No-Limit $50 max buy-in short-handed for one night and was finished. So the first-deposit-bonus was exceptionally easy to clear and the SavvyPoints were also pretty easy. The current promotion also promised me to get a Party Poker cap in the mail. All in all a nice addition to PokerSavvy.

Party Poker was the second poker room where I played, and it was great. A lot of choices between games and quite loose players. The bonus was also great. It took me two days (couple of hours a day) to play those 500 hands and as soon as I finished it the $100 bonus appeared on my account.

Wow. Easy promo again, gained 500 raked hands quite easily, got the SavvyPoints plus $100 sign-up bonus.
Pros: Many players, resizable windows, nice bonus. Many fish!
Cons: Waiting list didn't seem to work out for me.
Also the lobby was too much for my old PC, it usually started lagging. Works fine on new computers, though.

Well, I have played at many poker rooms before (and after), and I think Party poker is good. There are many bonuses every month (like reload bonuses or instant bonuses). One of the best thing in their software is that you can resize all tables. This is great. You can find a lot of fish too
