So here's my synopsis of my night in poker. It sucked. I am going to do an hour of commentary for Nickzor after this blog though, which is a benefit of busting everything rather quickly. I played alright tonight, although I was super TAG, which is weird. I think its because its early and I have grown to hate stealing without antes. Anyhoo, I don't even want to talk about hands tonight because it just sucked too much. However, today I looked at a few duplexes to buy in the Boston area and while the first 3 were awful the last one was a pleasant surprise. They had it listed as 2-2BR/1BA units but it legitimately had 5BR's and 2Baths upstairs and 3-5BR's downstairs. Which means the upstairs will rent for like $2200-$2500 a month, paying the mortgage and more. So basically its a steal. I bid full asking for it today in the high $300k's and it probably needs like $25k to finish it before renting but it was sold last year for $610k and foreclosed on by the bank with $510k left on the mortgage, so its a great deal and I hope no one else jumped on it today. Hey justin, congrats on the investment.
If you want any advice on any future investments let me know. You really need to be to careful during this time. I currently own numerous properties, residential and commercial and would be happy to give some advice. I have been a mortgage banker and commercial lender for the past 6 years.
