LA Recap
from tribefan9. 24 January 2008, 8:08.

So, I got back home to snowy Cleveland yesterday morning. The trip to LA was pretty bad. I ended up losing for the trip thanks to the biggest losing day of my poker career in the 100/200 game. I did play a little 200/400 which is the biggest game I have ever played. Overall I lost just under 200 bets for the trip, which is actually not all that bad or rare. It stings a bit more to run bad live than it does online since you see real cash flying out of your pocket and you can look right at the people who took it. It is also frustrating since my opponents play reaaaaaally bad live, and it is frustrating when they keep getting there.

When I go to LA for long periods I try to get some significant time away from the tables. I spent an evening in Pasadena (where I hope to move) and an evening in Santa Monica. One night I was given tickets to the casino suite for the Clippers-Suns game, that was really fun. I also got to see some various LA friends and family which is always nice.

I will be back in LA on February 6 for some LAPC action. Hopefully I will run better on that trip, those fools owe me some money.
