LearnedFromTV #38: PLO Fundamentals - Part 4

hey ive always enjoyed playing omaha better than NLHE and im considering switching my main game to omaha.

do you recommend using a HUD? are HUD's more/less useful in omaha than in NLHE? I'm just trying to determine how to best accomplish the transition. I feel like I know how to play omaha pretty decently but as far as looking at stats on people I dont know what to look for or how to review my session appropriately as I would in holdem. Any advice?

Also, I feel like there is definitely a "graduation" of NLHE players into omaha recently...do you find the tables to be particularly fishy at lower limits < 2/4 more so than holdem? It seems to me that overall, players are becoming increasingly competent in NLHE but not so much in omaha...which would seem that theres more money to be made in staying ahead of the knowlege curve...would you agree with this assumption?

Hud is useful for stuff like 3 bet % vpip and preflop raise and aggression. You can easily still be a successful player without using a hud, but its especially useful for people who play a lot of tables like 9+.
