I finally got the keys to my new house today, so the loooong six weeks of traveling, moving, and living in a bunch of hotels will finally be over tomorrow as all my junk gets hauled to the new place. I have found some time to play at the Commerce here in LA, and I am really happy with my game right now. I have been running good, which is always nice, and have won eight of my ten playing days since getting into town. I have also been playing really well which I think can be attributed to a good stretch of time off to clear my head and a more reasonable work/life balance than I used to have when I would come out to LA just to play cards. I was putting in way too many 14 hour days with not nearly enough time off. I am enjoying living out here and being able to put in 4-8 hour sessions while still enjoying life away from the tables. I have found some time to play online from the hotels as well, not a lot of video production, but I will kick that up once I get to the new place. I have been happy to hear that people are liking the replayer videos, you can expect more like that with a few twists thrown in. |
