Stucksville
from tribefan9. 5 May 2008, 18:18.

Last night I spent most of my time in the 60/120 game at the Commerce. It was one of those sessions that reminds me what it takes to be successful playing poker for a living. I was stuck about 5k early on and slowly grinded it back up (with a little heater mixed in) and ended up winning 2k. The results are pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, poker should be viewed as one long session and todays win or loss is not all that important. What is important is that I had the ability to keep playing well and making good decisions even when I was buried. Many players would have turned the two rack loss into four by letting it affect their game. There are a lot of players who are extremely good at the strategy aspects of the game (many better than me), but the differences between very good and excellent players are small. The key to success is in the non-strategy aspects like stakes selection, game selection, and handling adversity. The players who are experts in those areas are the ones that stick around.

Chris thanks for the videos.

I am thinking about switching my main game from nl low stakes online to the 10/20 limit game at my local casino. I have been playing low stakes nl limit from low to mid stakes. Can you give me some information about bank roll requirements and anything else that will help me. I have been watching a lot of your videos, thank you they have been a great help.

Thanks Matt

Matt, those are great questions for the forum, put them in the limit cash section and I will get you some info.
