TRD23 Presents serie, Great staff !

$0.50 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

I have gone though TRD23 new serie and that has really been useful. I have decreased the amount of tables and started to apply things one at the time as TRD23 lists in the end of first 3 episodes. At first I focused on Villains preflop open ranges. Then I have considered bet sizing in this context, special focus on preflop and now also flop actions, what I want to achieve. It is great to realize how things start to make more sense. Positive experience I faced with the below hand. Here often I tend to bet when checked to, but when I now considered Villains ranges more carefully I ended checking the flop. I felt the cold caller must have a hand like TT, JJ, perhaps QQ. Those would easily bet below flop If checked to. I felt MP Villain might have the K, but that I would know more about him if Button would bet as I expected based on pre flop actions.

Villain MP: 7/0 (14 hands)

Villain BTN: 23/14 (154 hands)

MP: $50.20

Hero (CO): $49.75

BTN: $102.45

SB: $69.55

BB: $66.35

UTG: $34.60

SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero has

fold, MP raises to $1.75, Hero raises to $6.00, BTN calls $6.00, fold, fold, MP calls $4.25

Flop: ($18.75, 3 players) 7s Kc Ks

MP checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $10.00, fold, Hero calls $10.00

Turn: ($38.75, 2 players)

Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($38.75, 2 players)

Hero bets $33.75 and is all-in, BTN calls $33.75

On the river I though It is difficult for him to fold TT-QQ to this flop. Yeah A is a scare card, but all the rest he beats. I decided to bet all in also because felt the smaller bet would look like even scarier. Main reason was that I believed he had the range he also then had. This was simple hand, but I got the maximum value and I feel thanks to TRD23 new serie that really has forced me to stop and think first.
