Well, I am back in LA now. Vegas was fun, played in two of the limit events, unfortunately did not get hot enough to cash. Fortunately I was able to pay for the buyins and the travel expenses with winnings from the cash games. Anytime I can get out of vegas with more cash than I came with I am pretty happy. I think my biggest gambling loss for the trip was in credit card roulette, I ended up sponsoring a nice meal with a group of friends. The games at the Commerce have been fewer in number but have been softening up as we get into summer time. Once the WSOP dies down things should get pumping again. I have seen a bit of a resurgence in the mid-high stakes limit games online which has been nice to see. It could be a bit of the pendulum swinging back towards limit as the preferred cash game, we shall see. Good luck to all the Pokersavvy guys still at the WSOP. Take 'em down! |

I am not exactly sure, there was a big debacle about being overcharged for wine and a bunch of money moved around, I think it was about $1000. Fortunately I won it all back later in the evening in drunken blackjack, paigow, and a bit of small stakes poker at the bellagio. Good times.
