3 years off and on, college keeps me from playing more

2) What tournament(s) you played (PokerStars or Full Tilt preferred)

4/180s, 2/180s, $1-$10 MTTs, only on Stars (sn is DrSayre)

3) What you struggle with / What areas of your game you think need improvement

Middle stage play, when to 3-bet all in with 13-20ish bbs, post flop play (when to c-bet, how much, what to do on fourth street when c-bet is called, etc.), and winning coin flips

4) Any other reasons why we should pick you

I want to get a better and profitable player.

Note: We're going to try to select a volunteer by next Friday, the 25th.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1) Ive been MTT for like 2 years now low / mid and sometimes high stakes. I wouldnt call myself a beginner but not a pro either.

2) I play Pokerstars only, I play: Sunday Warmup 500k, 50$ rebuy, 100$ rebuy, Daily fifty grand and sometimes some random sattelites / tourneys.

3) Begin building my stack , blind pushes / defending, making sure I get to that final table when around 100 people left

4) I want to push my MTT skills to the next level , biggest reason why me? well because I take poker seriously and watch read and blog around 8 hours a day of poker.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

I have been playing about 6 years

I play at Full Tilt

I struggle with laying down hands, especially when I should know I am beat

I feel I play well, but don't we all.  I feel like I can beat any pro, given enough chances.  I have some moves, and have a good understanding of HU play

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1)  About 3 years, I would say an advanced beginner.  I have a good understanding of flop textures/hand reading as I'm mostly a cash game player, but I don't play all that many MTTs.

2)  FT or Stars, but I currently have $ on FT.
3)  I get too "creative" in 20-30BB stacks.  I have trouble picking the right spots for resteals, and for playing big unpaired hands OOP @ this stack size.
4)  I would love the opportunity to have my game picked apart.  Coaching is a little beyond my bankroll atm, but I think I could be a really solid MTTer.  A good foundation to work from would be incredibly helpful to me.  I have read TPFAP and freqently read MTTc/hsMTT/lsMTT on twoplustwo, but rarely post.  I think all I need is a good player to look at my game + some volume, and I'll be able to bring my game to the next level quickly.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1)5 years

2)FT

3)I have trouble changing speeds.

4) I'm a pretty good player (positive opr lol) and I play pretty consistent but I'm sure I open to wide or pick weird interesting spots.  I think my aggresion combined with some of the random plays I make would be interesting.  Plus I've recently played an intresting tourney you could use (got 2nd in a DD) where I had tons of good spots to analyze.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1. About 2.5 years (Intermediate)

2. Usually the 26/90 Turbo's on FT

3. I have a problem laying down the hammer and punishing smaller stacks once I build my own. I haven't really developed a strong feel for playing the big stack. I have difficulty in my instincts in taking pots away. I need to work on owning the bubbles and being dominating.

4. You guys should pick me because I feel like I'm the perfect example of an intermediate person who subscribes to Pokersavvy. I understand the basic math, preflop hand selection, pushbotting, simple steals, final table play. But in order to become a better player, I need to round out my game, and this is where you guys come in to help.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1) How long you've been playing MTTs and your skill level (beginner or intermediate preferred)

I've been playing poker for a couple of years, however, other than the odd home game tourney with friends I've mostly played cash. Lately though, I have been more intrigued and had more fun playing tournaments and have begun to move over to MTTs for the past few months.

2) What tournament(s) you played (PokerStars or Full Tilt preferred)

I play tournaments on Full Tilt Poker. I play mostly lower buy in tournaments. I am a fan and have done well in the small buy in 1rebuy + 1add one tournaments. I have also been doing very well, but struggling through some parts of the $5-$30 MTT Freezeouts on FullTilt.

3) What you struggle with / What areas of your game you think need improvement

I think my early game is fundamentally sound, albeit probably with a few leaks. However, my late game play is oftentimes leaving something to be desired. I don't think I can push the proper edges coming towards the final table, I often have problems when the blinds get high. Also, I often times get myself in trouble with marginal hands and spew a lot of chips, something I'm trying to improve but still struggling with.

4) Any other reasons why we should pick you

I have a fair amount of experience playing poker, but very little experience playing MTTs as well as very little experience playing seriously. I have mostly been recreational but am hoping to play a more solid game and take some shots at some of the bigger tournaments online. I think I could benefit from a review from an experienced tourney pro, as well, I'm sure there will be many spots in some of my tournaments, where we can find mistakes that likely most beginners are making in the same spots as well.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1) How long you've been playing MTTs and your skill level (beginner or
intermediate preferred)

I've been playing MTTs for around 4 years and I'd say I'm an
intermediate player.  Right now I'm a break even player that is on the
verge of becoming a profitable player I just need a little bit of help.

2) What tournament(s) you played (Poker Stars or Full Tilt preferred)

I like to play the 26 dollar guarantees on Full Tilt as well as 3/5 rebuys

3) What you struggle with / What areas of your game you think need
improvement

My end game needs work I think I play to tight and I might even play to
tight early on it would interesting to hear a pros point of view. Playing with
a big stack in the early and middle stages of a MTT I always seem to go broke, but
I can play a short stack pretty damn good.  PP's in the middle stages of a
tournament.  My BSB play. Defending my BB from the button as well as
stealing from SB and not losing a big pot when I 'm just trying to pick up the
blinds and antes.

4) Any other reasons why we should pick you

I've been working so hard to become a solid poker player and have invested
the last 4 years trying to do so. I think this would really help my game out
and would be much appreciated.  Also like any poker player I want to win
the Sunday Million so I need to be able to build my bankroll so I can play in
events like this.  I also am really trying to build my bankroll for the
WCOOP, and FTOPS that are coming up. I've never got to play in any of these big
buy in events, but I'm trying really hard to and with your help I think I could
do it.

Thanks Poker SAVVY

Anything up to $22's on Stars

3) What you struggle with / What areas of your game you think need improvement

Mid-stage aggression, 15-20bb stacks.

1) How long you've been playing MTTs and your skill level (beginner or intermediate preferred)

3 years, Id say im on the cusp of intermediate and advanced

2) What tournament(s) you played (PokerStars or Full Tilt preferred)

11rs and 26-55 FOs stars and tilt

3) What you struggle with / What areas of your game you think need improvement

good spots to resteal, and times to slow down

4) Any other reasons why we should pick you

I feel my MTT game is fairly solid but due to a typically fast speed of my torny game I should have several interesting spots

Note: We're going to try to select a volunteer by next Friday, the 25th.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1) How long you've been playing MTTs and your skill level (beginner or intermediate preferred)

7 years, intermediate/advanced

2) What tournament(s) you played (PokerStars or Full Tilt preferred)

$3r to $20 mtts. With rare shots at $50+. I have played the Sunday million, and placed 3rd in a $109 $30k gtd.

3) What you struggle with / What areas of your game you think need improvement

Dealing with random donks that check/min-raise my c-bets. Playing at the 75/150 - 100/200 level with about 20 bb's. Winning coinflips and having big hands hold late in tourneys (haha)

4) Any other reasons why we should pick you

I have a lot of experience playing a variety of MTT's. I have played against poor players and against great players and I have a good feel for how each play and I'm not afraid to make moves vs. the better players. My results on pokerstars are quite good for the low volume I have put in.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1) Now, i´m somewhere between beginner and intermediate i would say...

In the last couple of month i slightly turned into a winning player in MTT´s.

2) I play every MTT from 1$ - 10$ (1r+1a) regularly. Sometimes i try a shot at some higher buy ins.

I play on PokerStars only.

3) I think i have to improve my 3- and 4 betting range, to become more dangerous!

4) Because of pokersavvy my tournament play improved alot in the couple of month! So, i want to give something back to the community!

Greets caine

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1) about 4 yrs. (intermediate/advanced)

2) (Bodog) Pretty much rolled to play ne thing on there

I can also deposit on to Pstars or FT and play there no problem, if required...

3) Good spots to reshove/resteal....turbo strategy.....gear changing....dealing with random check min. raises from weak opponents while holding marginal or drawing hand....bet sizing in the early stages of MTT play.....going after the weak/passive limposaurus' (which bodog is full of) in poss. with out getting too out of line...

4) I am a very creative player and am not affraid to put myself in some spots that are somewhat marginal, allthough these spots are carefully selected, and are player dependent alot of the time as there are TONS of MTT regulars on Bodog that I play with on a daily basis. I see these players alot as the feilds are typically small (300ppl or less usually ). There should def. be some interesting spots. I may be making some mistakes and being too aggressive in some spots, so this could def. be a part of my game that needs some help?

I play very tight in the begining stages of a MTT tourney, and then begin to open my game up and hopefully exploit a tight image if I am able to estabolish one. I like to play alot of pots when the stacks are deep, where I rely on my post flop play and hand reading abilities to build a big stack. Late in a MTT I am very aggressive as far as restealing goes, and could prob. be slowing down in some spots?

Bodog has alot of great deep stack/superstacked tourneys with great structures. I usually play between 20$-100$ bi's. I make alot of videos on a reg. basis for friends which we critique together and could submit a few videos that i've gone deep in or won for you guys to choose from.

I've watched every video, read every article/blog, read all the forums and am a huge fan of Pokersavvy and have brought alot of friends to the site as a result...I would LOVE to be a part of making a vid!!!

ps- I am a huge fan of Christian "charder30" Harder and would truly consider it a huge honor to have him critique my game. GL on the felt charder!!!!

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

1) How long you've been playing MTTs and your skill level (beginner or intermediate preferred)

I have been playing online MTT's for about a Year now. I normally play cash and tournaments in Atlantic City and in local clubs, recently changed over to online play. Less traveling

2) What tournament(s) you played (PokerStars or Full Tilt preferred)

I play mid stake MTT's for the sole reason of staying disciplined within my bankroll. Which has got me in trouble of playing outside of my bankroll and not being able to affrod taking badbeats.

$20 MTT's and any gaurnetee up to $50. Occasionally play in the Sunday Million and Sunday Brawl. I cashed once in the million but nothing that is worth mentioning.

3) What you struggle with / What areas of your game you think need improvement

I have a problem with staying alive late in tournaments. I am not sure if it is hand selection or trying to resteal at the wrong times. Accordings to official poker rankings.com I am in the money almost 30% of the MTT's I play in, but have yet hit that big score which would let me open up to higher stakes.

4) Any other reasons why we should pick you

I should be picked because critique of my play espically in the end game could ultimately launch me to a level where I can be playing and making enough money where I can still go to school but not have to kill myself in the real world working. I have been playing poker and studying the game for years. I have paid tution off with my live poker playing and done things with my winnings that has got me out of alot of jams. I feel that I am better then 90% of the people that I sit down with and I will quote the "Great" Phil Helmuth by saying "If luck weren't involved, I'd guess I'd won em' all"

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

Hey guys,
I am going to be doing one of these too.  Maybe more depending how it goes.  I would mainly like a mid-late game tourney video but I am open to early game too.  I will decide in a day or so who's I am doing.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

do me....

thats what she said

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

Hope I'm not too late!

1) How long you've been playing MTTs and your skill level (beginner or intermediate preferred)

I've been playing Mtt's for almost 3 years.  My skill level is intermediate.  My roi lifetime is around 30% but would like to improve it.

2) What tournament(s) you played (PokerStars or Full Tilt preferred)

I play mostly on poker stars--usually the 55 FO, sometimes splurge on a 109 FO and an occasional rebuy 5-10.

3) What you struggle with / What areas of your game you think need improvement

I really struggle with the mid-game.  This is especially true when I go card dead and either I have a 14-20 bb stack or my opponents to my left have a 20 bb stack or less.   If opportunities to resteal don't come along, I watch my stack dwindle and then I get frustrated and maybe make an imprudent move.

4) Any other reasons why we should pick you

I think my hh's would show common mistakes that hold players from becoming advanced --being aggressive in the wrong spots, being too passive in other spots, not adjusting quickly enough, post-flop mistakes, etc.  In other words, I have the basics down but need some help moving to the next stage. Smiling

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

Hi   im  an  intermediate player , i play mainly at pokerstars. I have  been playing for  about  3  years.

I play  both tournaments and NL cash games. and have my good and  bad  games.I,ve won the 180 player $2 buyin about 5 times but ive noticed when i move up my play is weaker or more exploited.im not sure.

Areas i struggle with ,  i would think are when i move up to higher cash games or higher tourney,s i know that even if i hit a strgt or flush with either a flush or the board pairing , sometimes i wont give the hand  up when im beat. which  i would consider a weakness.

Why should you pick me. good  question   I beleive if you pick me i will gaurantee  a WSOP within 3 yrs

, so pick me and  you  see  me  have " DURRRR" shakin in his boots at the final table.............

Cheers

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

Been playing 6 months.

Intermediate/mid stakes, $24-$109 tournaments with the occasional $200 or bigger thrown in, on both FTP and Stars.

Had some decent cashes including 2nd in Stars $50 50K guarantee, 3rd (chop) in the $10r 55k guarantee a couple of weeks ago, FTed the $65K on Full Tilt a couple of weeks ago, also several FTs on the Big Double (as well as highest average finish twice) and a bunch of smaller stuff. All thanks to pokersavvy and 2+2!

I struggle with opening up my game  in the mid stages, just before and just after the antes start.

charder30 looking for a volunteer / MTT HH Review video

I did this randomly and if Charder wants to do one of these guys then I will move to the alternate list.  I picked 1 person from what I categorize Low, Mid, High Buyins.  I will do 3 of these reviews, approx 45min - 1.5hrs of commentary, maybe more for each of you.  You can either record or just send me the Hand History files, I think the later will be best as I can get through the most hands that way.

Winners (in no order):
adamwinter
cainearized
nickzor

Alts (in order):
zedverson
Rflavin3
ttossona7
noeldevnesmyad
Nickrousky
Finnsey

I will give Charder first pick if he was already thinking of doing any of the 3 random winners.  You guys can do any stage of the tourney or just send me the whole thing.  I will get the admins to contact you and tell you where to send the HH's.  Any information like buyin, entrants, how many paid, maybe jot down the level when the bubble starts approaching, would be helpful.  Thanks for the interest everyone.  Likely will get the first one off in 1.5-2 weeks as its my bday Thursday and I will be busy this weekend.  Thanks again all.
