Mike Matusow
aka The Mouth
Mike is one of the most recognizable names in poker. He took 2nd in the 1997 WSOP Omaha 8/Better event, won his 1st WSOP bracelet in the 1999 $3,500 buy-in NLHE tournament, finished 6th in the 2001 WSOP Main Event, and won his 2nd WSOP bracelet in 2002 in the $5,000 buy-in Omaha 8/Better tournament. In 2005, Mike finished 9th in the WSOP Main Event, becoming the 2nd person to make the final table twice in a starting field of 600+ players. A few months later he outplayed 110 of the world's best players to win the 2005 Tournament of Champions. Mike is continually working on his game and remains one of the most successful - and outspoken - players at any table he joins. |
