I have been playing poker for about 6 years now, professionally for 3. I'm currently a full time MTT player that transitioned from SNGs and currently play mid-high stakes MTTs. Since my transition to full time MTTs last June, I've amassed roughly $370,000 in profits.

My current stakes are 20 rebuys-100 rebuys, 50 Fo's - 320 Fo's and sometimes I'll go higher depending on how soft a tournament may be. Josh "TRD23" Pix is a 30 year old professional poker player from Adelaide, Australia. A former limit player from 2005-2007 he quit the game and returned to work as a Business Analyst seeing poker as little more than a boring, robotic process. Tom "LearnedfromTV" Chambers has been playing poker full-time for a little over two years, mostly online. He plays a variety of games at the mid-stakes level, including 2/4-5/10 PLO, 10/20-30/60 HORSE, and all forms of NLHE. His approach to the game and to teaching is theory-intensive, and his videos will include a mix of theory instruction and hand analysis. He plays under the name Entropy xx on Pokerstars and the name LearnedfromTV on most other sites. PLO is currently his main game, but he also enjoys playing mixed games and working toward being a well-rounded poker player. His live tournament results include a successful 2008 WSOP, during which he final tabled 2 events and finished 2nd in the $2500 Stud 8/Omaha 8 event for $143k. Ironically, he hates watching poker on tv.

Mike is one of the most recognizable names in poker. He took 2nd in the 1997 WSOP Omaha 8/Better event, won his 1st WSOP bracelet in the 1999 $3,500 buy-in NLHE tournament, finished 6th in the 2001 WSOP Main Event, and won his 2nd WSOP bracelet in 2002 in the $5,000 buy-in Omaha 8/Better tournament. He won his 3rd Bracelet in 2008 in the $5000 No Limit 2-7 Draw Event.

Michael “SirWatts” Watson is considered one of Canada's top online tournament players. He grinded out a bankroll for years while attending college and began making major tournament cashes. At the 2007 WSOP, he cashed five times. Then, at the 2008 Bellagio Cup IV, Watson made the World Poker Tour televised final table as chip leader. He fought through a table full of pros to win the nearly $1.7 million first-place prize. Mike also plays high stakes cash games. He'll be doing MTT training videos as well as PLO and other cash game instruction.

Christian "charder30" Harder is a 20 year old tournament Pro from Annapolis, Maryland. In addition to having great online success, he also recently final tabled back-to-back EPT events in the Bahamas and Germany to become the first player ever to achieve such a feat. He is also an excellent instructor and will be a huge addition to the PokerSavvy team.

Naseem "Nas" Makiya is 23 years old and recently graduated from Harvard University. He's been playing poker professionally for about a year. He started at the micro stakes with $50 free on Absolute Poker in March 2007, and worked that up slowly until last January when he took a shot at 400NL and decided to go pro. At that point he was playing mostly 6MAX cash games and after making about 40k at 400NL, he decided to move up in June 2008 to $5/10. He also moved the majority of his play to Heads Up cash games which is now his specialty. Since June he's made about 120k winning at about 5bbs/100 hands at $5/10. Currently he's in the process of moving up to $10/20 and plans on being at $25/50 by early next year. Naseem will be making Heads Up and 6max videos, at stakes ranging between 1/2 and 10/20.

Adam "ASPoker8" Shuman plays as ASPoker8 on Stars and ProbBluffingYou on Full Tilt. He has put in numerous hours playing NLHE tournaments, 6-max NLHE cash games, and heads-up cash games. Lately, Adam has been having success playing mostly medium-high stakes tournaments, but often supplementing his tournament tables with heads-up cash games. While he is just a 20 year old student at the University of Florida, Adam has already had success in both online and live poker settings. His greatest achievement thus far has been chopping the inaugural Continental Poker Championship at TurningStone Casino in New York for $50,000.

Noah "NoahSD" Stephens-Davidowitz has been playing NLHE since high school. He's always been interested in math and logic, and from the beginning approached poker from that perspective. He built his bankroll through college, moving from multi-table to single-table tournaments to shorthanded cash. He recently graduated from college and currently makes his living playing midstakes heads up cash.

Isaac plays mainly $25/$50 and $50/$100 cash NL, everything from heads up to full ring. He plays as philivey2694 on Stars, and as luvthewnba on Full Tilt. Since turning 21 in September 2006, he also has over $1 million in live tournament cashes, including 2nd in the 2007 Pokerstars Carribean Adventure and 7th in the WSOP 1k rebuy tournament. Isaac recently graduated from Brown University with a degree in philosophy.

Chris McCabe is a member of Team PokerSavvy and core instructor for PokerSavvy Plus. Chris has been playing online poker since 2004, and currently plays 2-4/3-6 NL on PokerStars and Full Tilt. Chris teaches solid TAG fundamamentals, and his "Building the Basics" uNL series has received rave reviews from players new to poker.

My poker story can be devided in 2 main chapters: The first of which was donking around for 2 years, the second was deciding to study the game. I only took away ideas that I agreed with after critically thinking about them myself, and applied them to my own game. I'd disagree with the vast majority of strategy advice on forums, thought many coaches in videos misplayed hands, thought many well respected forum posters were weaktight and unimaginative, and just build my own unique style based only on the things that I did agree with myself, and stuff I thought off myself while thinking about the game and analyzing situations. As a result, within 12 months I've moved up from NL10 to NL1000 6max in a post-UIEGA climate, with as biggest strenght the thing that's everybody's weakness: The Red Line.

Erik Christiansen is a 25 year old student from Germany, currently studying economics at the University of Kiel. Erik began playing limit hold 'em in mid 2006 with $5 of free money and has never deposited since. In the fall of 2006, he quit limit and began playing no limit, and now lives solely off of his poker earnings. Depending on his mood and his bankroll, he plays all limits up to NL2000. In addition to being a great poker instructor, Erik is also a drummer in a metal band =).

Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke is a 20 year old poker pro from Illinois. He took 22nd place at the 2007 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and subsequently finished runner up to Gus Hansen at the Aussie Millions. This finish won him $800,000. Fricke cashed in the WSOP Europe 2007 HORSE event, temporarily holding the record for the youngest player to ever cash at a WSOP event. His record was broken by Annette Obrestad only a few days later. Jimmy will be doing MTT videos as well as some cash game videos in Pot Limit Omaha and other games.

Felix started playing poker in March 2006 with $50 free money down at the lowest fixed limit stakes. After half a year of grinding his bankroll up to about 2k, he switched to NL 6MAX directly because he had liked the aggressive limit 6MAX games. He started out at nl50 and grinded his roll up to play nl200-400 by the start of 2007. He has played nl100-400 for a living from that point on, using what is probably super conservative bankroll management. He has previously graduated with a math diploma and started a part time job which leaves enough room for poker and teaching. He has always been into teaching and didactics during his studies, and the same applies for his love for teaching poker strategy.

Chris is a Limit Hold'em specialist who plays professionally at several sites but is best known at Bodog as tribefan9. Chris also plays a lot of live games up to $100/$200 stakes, particularly at Commerce in LA. In addition to being a very successful limit player online, Chris is an excellent instructor.

Matt begun his poker career with $50 and a dream, and after studying the game found his aggressive, methodical style best suited for Heads Up Play. Matt currently plays matches from $200-$500 buy in, and offers coaching for Micro/Small stakes HU-SNG players.

Shaun Deeb is a highly regarded MTT Pro who wafflecrushes the competition. After finishing 3rd in the 2006 standings, Shaun finished #1 overall in the 2007 PokerStars Tournament Leader Board, quite an accomplishment.
