Lol I thought the link was broken at first. Pretty sweet feature!

Hey everyone,

We've added a new feature that allows tracks forum posts related to a video directly to the video page!

This way - you can make comments while watching your videos, and even rate the video without the video stopping Smiling

Any comments posted here will also be posted in the pro's video thread for this video - so you can respond either here, or in the forum.

Any and ALL feedback is appreciated - so even if your comment is "nice vid" - please add it - we want to know what you guys like / don't like - so we can better structure our videos for your viewing experience.

That being said - Andrew - nice vid Smiling

Yeah believe it or not I do occasionally take a break from talking. Smiling

This is a cool feature, Chris! Let me encourage everyone to please post brief reviews of the video, even if you don't have any questions. I know that when I am looking for an instructional video, I always check the reviews of other members before watching so that I don't waste an hour on something that isn't going to be particularly useful to me.

And be honest. If something isn't working, I want to know, and I want others to know about it before they waste their time. Don't worry about chasing away viewers- I get paid the same whether anyone watches my videos or not!

I liked the video, as I feel I get something from all your videos, foucault, but I think this is a topic (calling 3bets) that is more suited to a hand history review video than a sweat video, simply because in a sweat video you can't control how often the topic comes up.

That said, I recognize that so much of 3betting has to do with matchflow, which you can't get in a hand HH review video, so I'm not sure how helpful a HH review vid would be for a 4betting strategy (or even for a calling 3bets strategy).

In a way, this is the paradox of any 3bet vid: so much of 3betting depends on matchflow, yet any sweat session can only contain so many 3bet spots.

Also, even though you never really call a 3bet in this vid, some interesting 3b/4b spots come up: for example, when you 4b KQ in minute 6:00.

Also, I really liked the theoretical discussion that begins part 1 of this series.

In sum, I think it might be most interesting to see a vid or two where you isolate a specific concept through HH review, and then a concluding sweat vid that shows you integrating ALL aspects of the theory by paying close attention to matchflow. (And I recognize that in a way that's what you were doing in this video (ie, playing optimally and discussing your 3b/4b options at each decision-point), but it'd be interesting to see a sweat session that contains a more aggressive 3betting environment than this session, so that we can see a larger variety of 3b/4b spots. And if you wanted to play lower stakes to avoid the variance/tough 1K games, that'd be cool, too.)

s_d,

Good advice. I realized the same thing while making this video, and my next one is a HH review on the same subject. Glad you found this one helpful nonetheless.
