The Situation: $50 Sit-n-Go, Level 3 with blinds of 25/50. 8 players remain. You have an average stack and you have not been involved in many pots so far. You don't have any information on the button player. The big blind is the chip leader and has been playing a lot of hands both in and out of position.

From middle position you raise to 150 with 8c 8d. The button calls as does the big blind.

The flop comes Tc5h7s. The big blind leads out with a minimum bet of 50 into a pot of 475. As the preflop raiser with a player still to act behind you, how do you play it?

this situation seems to come up a lot. I hate calling here, because you are showing so much weakness, giving up control of the hand, and basically telling your opponents you just have overcards. I'd raise to about 300, making a standard continuation bet on a flop that is unlikely to have hit my opponents. If I get called I'm done with the hand unless I improve. Most of the time the min-bet leader is weak.

I dont agree with that comment ... with K high and a long way to a backstreet flush or even a str8 what are you raising vs. one player which comes to act behind you and also the loose chipleader in the BB? I suppose that Flop did improve at least one of those 2 opponents, there are many possible hands they did call your Preflop Raise - Fold, not one more Chip with K high, last thing would be a call - there I agree it shows how weak you`re in fact. No Re-Raise (kind of a C-Bet) with that Hand vs. 2 players

I regard minimum bets as similar to checking. This mostly indicates a weak made hand or a blocking bet for a drawing hand. Occasionally, it is a strong hand being slow played. Some tricky players use it to feign poor play.
The board is connected with all different suits, and one of the other players may be drawing to a straight, especially the loose chip leader. The bettor may also have second or third pair. I would expect two pair or a set to make a larger bet to protect their hand.
Your hand is weak and you will probably only win the pot with a bet. However, You don't have a lot of chips and risk becoming short stacked if you lose a large pot.
Without a read on the other players, I would consider making a small raise (200) and see what happens. Nice if they all fold.
I wouldn't call as I wouldn't know where I was in the hand. Folding is also worth considering and would preserve your chips.
If I make a small raise, get called and don't improve on the turn - I would check, possibly call or fold to another minibet or fold to a larger bet. I'd want to keep the pot small and be wary if a straight becomes more likely.
If check-raised by the big blind or raised by the other player, I fold immediately.
