AAxx on dry board OOP NL25PLO

hehe, the plague of all n00b uNL PLO players.

Villain is pretty tight, have not seen him do anything crazy.  Have seen him get involved in 3/18 hands.

Hero is in SB with AsAcTs7c.  Villain is in CO, and pots over a limper to 1.1.  I re-raise to 2.5: I want to raise, but I don't want to jam the pot button with a hand that will likely be one-pair on the flop.   Villain calls.

Flop: J 3 2 r.  I check for two reasons:

1)  I don't want to bloat the pot OOP.

2)  I don't think I get the stacks in very often against anything other than top set?

<--------is this right?  If not, should I be checking to c/r and get stacks in?  Should I be betting about 3/4 pot?

Villain checks behind (5.5).

Turn: offsuit 6.  I lead for 4, and villain quickly calls.

Here, I think I need to put some action in, cause I think that QQ/KK are paying me off now given my line.

River: 7 (13).  Hero bets 4.75, and villain raises to 12.

Ouch, ouch, ouch.  I wanted to put out a blocker bet that gets called by worse, but I just got owned.  I think villain has KKxx and QQxx hands here, many of which could have made a str8.  I don't really think a tight villain raises w/out a str8 here.

<----------------Bad, bad, bad?  Check/fold here instead?

stay true to the pot button. you're missing a ton of value with double suited aces if you don't pot em and play em hard. play AAxx like you play 5678 or so.

flop is such a clear bet if you had 3bet bigger preflop. however, i think you should bet the flop regardless though. you're gonna get called by Jxxx a big part of the time and there's value in that. it's a flop that misses his range a whole lot, so pot it. if you have backdoor draws, it adds like 3 % equity or whatever. and if you have 2 backdoors, you suddenly have 6 % equity. you also have a backdoor straight draw. you can still make top set if an ace falls. flop is a bet tbh. if he raises the flop, he's probably got you beat (his range vs your hand, anyways). if he calls, he's got a wider range. he's more likely to call QQxx or KKxx than he is to raise it. he's more likely to raise hands that missed.

cbet flop. fold if raised. bet/folding is key in plo.

as played, you're doing the right thing on the turn. you want villain to fold here though. river is a pretty clear c/f (or c/c, given reads). you don't beat much now, and he's gonna check behind with any type of Jxxx hand a high % of the time.
