The software has a download-able and an instant version that you can play in your web browser. This is convenient if you are on the go and want to play some poker from a friend's computer, but don't want to bother with installing a program on their PC. The lobby has two different views you can choose from, both are easy to use with several filters you can use to narrow down the list of tables to just those that you are interested in playing at. If you're having problems and need some help, you can contact their support team via email or you can also use their Live Chat support, which is available Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00am BST. Support at Purple Lounge is helpful but fairly slow, the cash-out speed is a little slow as well, so don't get too discouraged when it takes a little longer to process your cash-out compared to what you're used to at other poker rooms.

As you may have guessed, the default table, card images and background are all shades of purple at Purple Lounge, but if you're not feeling the swanky lounge decor you can choose between 6 different color schemes. One nifty feature is that you can upload your own picture or image as your player avatar (right click on your seat at the table and click 'upload image'). In the options section you will find several features and settings you can change to make your experience more comfortable, such as the ability to use a four color deck, custom configure your bet slider, toggle animations and sound on or off, and the option to set your preferred seat in the table in advance.
