Med dryga 60,000 uppkopplade spelare när som helst på dygnet är Party Poker utan tvekan den största nätpokersajten, men är det den bästa? Ett kort svar: ja och nej. När det gäller spelutbud, upplägg och varierat motstånd finns inte dess like och av dessa orsaker kommer man förmodligen behålla sin dominerande ställning, men det finns vissa svagheter. Ett något vardagligt utseende och vissa brister i funktionaliteten kommer få vissa spelare att söka sig vidare, även om dessa besvikelser inte räcker till för att förstöra Partyt.

Välja Spel (Rated 10 out of 10)
Om man funderar över hur Party Poker blev störst på marknaden behöver man mer än titta på deras spelutbud. Med spel av alla upptänkliga storlekar, typer och nivåer, dessutom oftast flera av varje, är detta Party Pokers största styrka och sätter ribban för alla andra sajter. De cashgames som finns att tillgå är samtliga hold’emspel, limit och pot limit Omaha och 7-card stud, med var och en av dessa på nivåer från så lågt som 10c/25c till $100/$200. De verkliga extremerna när det gäller såväl micro- som high-limit, liksom Hi/Lo-spel, är det enda som saknas här men det finns en uppsättning nybörjarbord för nya spelare och några intressanta jackpot-bord för t.ex. ‘bad beats’.
Turneringsspelet är också imponerande, med gott om i stort sett allting. En- och flerbords-sit-and-go’s erbjuds med gradvis ökande inköpsnivåer, men det måste påpekas att avstånden mellan nivåerna skulle kunna vara mindre och att det inte finns lägre nivåer än $6. Denna milda kritik tystnar dock snabbt inför det obegränsade utbudet av kvalturneringar och satelliter, eller ‘steps’ som de kallas, till varje tänkbart turnering inklusive självaste WSOP. Detta gäller även deras dagliga, schemalagda turneringar, vilka är särskilt användbara för alla hängivna freerollers där ute med dussintals sådana varje dag. Speciella kampanjturneringar, turbospel, och re-buyturneringar ger också de lite extra variation.

Som man skulle kunna gissa när det gäller en sajt som varje dag lockar mer folk än vad som bor i vissa mindre länder är spelarkvaliteten hos Party Poker mycket varierande. De bästa och mest erfarna såväl som de svagaste och minst erfarna flockas här i drivor vilket gör att standarden på spelet varierar mycket från bord till bord. Ett sätt som Party Poker försöker jämna ut detta är genom sina nybörjarbord, som uteslutande är tillgängliga för nyöppnade konton under en viss tidsperiod. Detta är ett bra ställe för färskingar att testa spelet på, men lockar även duktiga spelare att komma in för att bygga på sin bankrulle innan man spelar på resten av sajten. I takt med att nivåerna blir högre stiger föga förvånande även kvaliteten på spelarna, men kanske inte på samma förutsägbara sätt som hos andra pokerrum. Den oerhört höga trafiken och Party Pokers profil för med sig alla möjliga sorters nybörjare, även sådana med en rejäl bankrulle, så om man ska hålla sig borta från highstakesborden på andra sajter kan de vara en lönande erfarenhet här. Den huvudsakliga inriktningen mot hold’em kanske också bidrar till att hålla spelarkvaliteten nere, eftersom de mer allroundinriktade och därmed oftast väldigt skickliga spelarna ibland sökt sig någon annanstans.

Party Pokers programvara är genomarbetad på de flesta sätt, som man kan förvänta sig av ett pokerrum av denna storlek, men det är inte det bästa exemplet vi sett. Nedladdning, installation och att komma igång svarar mot behovet, men går inte fullt så snabbt som hos vissa. Den huvudsakliga styrkan hos Party Pokers programvara är det utmärkta sätt på vilket den betjänar deras många kunder. Klientens huvudfönster tillhandahållar en mängd alternativ för användaren och den enastående onlinesupporten är en särskild tillgång.
Själva spelet fungerar hyfsat, olika händelser och fördelningen av marker genomförs ganska snabbt och effektivt. Även korten delas ut och läggs snabbt vilket gör att spelet flyter på och man slipper de irriterande och ibland nervpåfrestande pauser som uppstår när spelare väntar på att få reda på om de vunnit en viss hand. Några av de grundläggande förvalsknapparna saknas, t.ex. syn-knappen, vilket gör det mer besvärligt att spela flera bord samtidigt. Däremot har Party Poker introducerat flera intressanta uppfinningar, som exempelvis möjligheten att ändra bordens storlek och läge, vilket gör att flera bord får plats på samma skärm för att därmed underlätta för alla multi-tablespelare.

Det är överraskande att en sajt som Party Poker, som är så populär och håller en hög kvalitet generellt har en så alldaglig grafik. Klienten är huvudsakligen inriktad på organisering och funktionalitet, där den håller god klass, istället för utseende. Färg, atmosfär och kretiva teman offras till förmån för användbarhet och till viss del är det värt det, med det mest välorganiserade och enkla upplägget på spelutbudet överhuvudtaget som resultat. Informationen i lobbyn om turneringar, priser och spelare är också utmärkt.
Om klientens och lobby-delens grafik är avsiktligt underdrivna så är bordsgrafiken rent ut tråkig. Ett litet antal avatarer verkar vara höjden av kreativitet hos denna sajt, även om dessa inte ens är valbara av spelarna själva och är av diskutabel kvalitet. Grafiken på bord, kort och marker är så enkel den kan bli, men trots allt väldigt användarvänlig och praktisk.

Lönsamhet (Rated 8 out of 10)
Trots avsaknaden av en riktigt stor bonus eller några speciellt lönsamma spelalternativ gör Party Pokers image och status att sajten ändå behåller sin lönsamhet. Dess blotta storlek och kraftfulla marknadsföring gör den till en plats dit folk allt som oftast söker sig för sin första erfarenhet av nätpoker, trots att den inte har det utbud av micro-limitbord dessa spelare normalt sett återfinns på. Detta resulterar i en del löst och smaskigt spel vid i synnerhet no limit hold’emborden
Man har inte samma utbud av jackpot-spel som till exempel några av iPokerrummen som Noble Poker eller Titan Poker, men det finns möjligheter för spelare som vill kunna tjäna mycket för sina småpengar. En av dessa är ‘steps’-turneringarna där du kan kvalificera dig för en $50 sit-and-go genom en $10 sit-and-go. Den största delen av vinsten på Party Poker kommer dock från att spela på en sajt som är fullproppad av nybörjare och med få säkra platser där dessa kan gömma sig.

Party Poker has one of the most clearly arranged lobbies, the tables and gameplay are average.

Players: From very good to absolute fish. If you are an average player you should be able to make some money!
RESULT: One of the best PokerSavvy bonuses with a very good deposit bonus that is very easy to complete!!!

The software on Party Poker is on of my favourite.
Players are not that good so you can earn a little bit of money beside the savvybonus.
That bonus is very easy to clear in there. It just took me 2 hours while playing 4 tables on NL200.

I like PartyPoker. The players are horrible, the software runs great, altho I don't like the avatars sitting on the table. The PartyPoint system, however, is just absolute rubish. You get points for playing 20 raked hands at a table. But when you play for instance 79 raked hands. You don't get the points times 4, but times 3. Since you missed 1 raked hand. I think this is just a very sad tactic to use on your customers! But overall the room is terrific.

Very good and quick bonus. Players in PartyPoker's micro fixed tables are very weak. So bluff.

Party Poker bonus was incredibly easy to complete playing only 1 NL25 table. This was the first Savvybonus I have ever completed. To gain partypoints you have to play tables at least as big as NL25. I liked the software and graphics. Competition was really variable. There were some good players also but most of players at NL25 were relatively fishy. I have nothing to complain about full 5/5 stars from me. Really easy 500 savvypoints here.

I mostly play 5-6 handed NL5-NL25 and Party's short handed tables start from NL25, so I had to play at max level all the time to get this bonus done. NL25 was quite fishy and the raked hands needed were quite easily gathered so I got the bonus done, but i preffer sites that have more low limit short tables.
Client was easy to use, and money transfers from moneybookers and to moneybookers were fast. Quick and easy bonus.

If you spent all your money before you recive your partypoint, just wait some weeks or month and they will give free money up to 30$, so at least I could complete my points. Easy

I really like PP. Very weak players so you can make much profit. The Bonus is easy to clear and no problems occured.

Overall the bonus at Party Poker is very easy to clear. I had it finished in 2 days and it only took about another 2 days to get my savvy points in my account. For the most part the players are pretty loose so you should make a bit of profit at the same time.

Party Poker has simple, easy to use, software. One of the advantages playing on a big site like this is that there's a lot of tables and a lot of weak players! Also, another plus, the PokerSavvy bonus was very easy to clear! Although the deposit bonus was a bit on the small side, it was very easy to release. Enjoy the PokerSavvy Bonus on Party!

I like Party Poker because of their nice, user friendly software. They have a lot of players, you can find active tables during every part of the day. I played $25 max buy-in no-limit games and it was quite easy to clear this bonus at those stakes.

Party Poker was nice experience for me, but I didn't like the skin. I don't know why, but that was it. The skill level of the other players was okay, it's sad that American players are not there anymore. Party Poker is targeted to people who want to play poker for fun. The deposit bonus offered by Party was kind of poor...

Party Poker is part of a huge network. There are players online all the time. There are a lot of fish at the lower stakes. The support staff is very nice, after making a deposit they called me up on the phone and welcomed me to the site. The withdrawal was also great, it took me less then 24 hours to receive my money in my Moneybookers account. Another thing I liked about Party Poker is that they had mini-view tables, so it was easy to play up to twelve tables at the same time.

Party Poker is a well known poker site, but my playing experience wasn't as pleasant as I expected it to be. The software was okay, but not great. The SavvyPoints bonus is very small, but easy to complete. There are many different tables and it's easy to get a game going.

This bonus is my #1 recommendation in almost any article concerning building a BR - and not without reason. Especially with Party's new rake structure, it's easier than ever to meet the required raked hands - totally risk free if you're playing fixed-limit. Their software is okay, a bit plain, but there are many layouts to choose from. Games are good and frequent, just watch out for the short stacks at no-limit tables or the nits in the fixed-limit games. Unfortunately, Party Poker has changed their reload bonus conditions, but the PokerSavvy bonus still is the way to go!

Party Poker has very good software, multi-tabling is no problem. Tight-aggressive is the style employed by most players, but there are enough fish to earn money. The customer support is not good.

After 1.5 year of intensive online playing this was my first time I played at Party Poker. First to say is that I loved the software, it was easy to use, fast and reliable. Customizable table sizes is great feature! I thought the games were pretty tight and aggressive. The 'Players to Flop' percentage was 12%-15% in many full ring games which means you have to adapt your strategy to these games. Also, there are lots of players only buying in with short stacks. Overall I liked Party Poker, especially because of the bonus from PokerSavvy!

This was my easiest bonus ever.
May 24th - In the afternoon I deposited $500 via Moneybookers. I played about 30 minutes ($0.10/0.15 PL/NL x 4 tables) and got almost half of the needed points.
May 25th - When I got home I played another 30 minutes and viola! Done deal! Got my $100 deposit bonus! I withdrew $630 back to my Moneybookers account.
May 26th - In the morning the money was already in my Moneybookers account and I have also earned my SavvyPoints. The whole process took me about two days (One hour of playing), I think this is how it's meant to be! :)

I like the software, especially how you can tile/resize the windows. Took me three or four days to get those 500 raked hands ($0.25/0.50 NL). Deposit $500, and after you meet PokerSavvy's raked hand requirement, you'll also receive Party's $100 first deposit bonus! Highly recommended!

I 4-tabled No-Limit $50 max buy-in short-handed for one night and was finished. So the first-deposit-bonus was exceptionally easy to clear and the SavvyPoints were also pretty easy. The current promotion also promised me to get a Party Poker cap in the mail. All in all a nice addition to PokerSavvy.

Party Poker was the second poker room where I played, and it was great. A lot of choices between games and quite loose players. The bonus was also great. It took me two days (couple of hours a day) to play those 500 hands and as soon as I finished it the $100 bonus appeared on my account.

Wow. Easy promo again, gained 500 raked hands quite easily, got the SavvyPoints plus $100 sign-up bonus.
Pros: Many players, resizable windows, nice bonus. Many fish!
Cons: Waiting list didn't seem to work out for me.
Also the lobby was too much for my old PC, it usually started lagging. Works fine on new computers, though.

Well, I have played at many poker rooms before (and after), and I think Party poker is good. There are many bonuses every month (like reload bonuses or instant bonuses). One of the best thing in their software is that you can resize all tables. This is great. You can find a lot of fish too
