Att spela från blindposition är en av de svåraste sakerna i limitpoker. Du har ett positionellt övertag i satsningsrundan preflop, vilket innebär att du agerar efter alla andra, men din position är värsta tänkbara i alla följande rundor -- du agerar före alla andra. Utöver detta finns några olika matematiska överväganden.

Ta till exempel, en draghand som 8H-9H. Om nu en spelare i mittposition höjer vill du förmodligen slänga den handen: med största sannolikhet ligger du efter och oddsen för att lyckas är inte bra. Men om du har denna hand i big blind vill du nästan alltid betala denna extra satsning.

Det är i alla fall en början. Kom ihåg att detta bara är grundläggande riktlinjer. Vissa hold'emböcker, som exempelvis Lee Jones's Winning Low Limit Hold'em och David Sklansky's Hold'em Poker for Advanced Players, tillhandahåller listor på exakt vilka starthänder som kan spelas i olika positioner. Men vi kommer inte att gå riktigt så långt i denna guide.

Istället för att vi ger dig en lång lidta på saker att memorera, pröva dina kunskaper på några övningar som testar din förmåga att tänka klart och identifiera de bästa, och mest lönsamma, valen när du ställs inför varje typ av situationer.
