Daily Poker Quiz: Baby Flush Facing a Raise

pokertable

The Situation: You are playing $2/$4 NL Hold 'Em 6-Max online and find yourself in the big blind with 6s4s. It is folded around to the button who open limps and the small blind folds. The button is generally a loose-passive player who sometimes appears to take strange lines and appears quite tricky.

You elect to check and you see a flop of QsTsQs. You lead out for $6 into the pot of $10 and the button calls.

The turn gives you a flush when the 8s hits and you lead again for $16. The button instantly raises to $80. You started the hand with around $700 and the button covers. What hands can you put him on and how do you play it? Vote and/or comment below!

"it unlikely he has a higher"

it unlikely he has a higher flush ( though possible,)
its far more likely hes protecting his straight/2pair/set against your possible FD.
i'd just call and then checkraise river.

I think you're good here and a big raise is in order. He could easily have J9, 2 pair, or the As with a pair. I'm raising big because another spade could kill the action (or kill my hand).
