Daily Poker Quiz: SNG Down to Heads Up, Facing an All In

pokertable

The Situation: $50 SNG, down to the final 2 with blinds of 150/300. Your opponent has a slight chip advantage. Your opponent has played an unorthodox style thus far and is probably inexperienced. In earlier hands you've noticed he did not re-raise with Ace-King suited when the table was 4-handed, and he has limped and called raises out of position with very marginal hands. You are confident you can outplay him in this heads up confrontation.

From the button you make it 900 to go with the AsQs and your opponent calls.

The flop comes QcJc7c. He checks and you make a pot-sized bet of 1700. Your opponent thinks for a bit and calls.

The turn card pairs the board with the Jd . Your opponent bets enough to put you all in.

Hero made the call, and the villain showed J9 for trips, which held up to win the tourney.

If he is limping with AK he can have K,10 & K,Q. But when he takes a little time to think he might be wondering if his jacks are good. So it's a 50-50, either a jack or a weaker queen.
